Two hearts collide in a fusion of unexplored potential.
A journey is engaged, ablaze with expectations.
But all journeys end.
The hope of an endless sunrise unfolds a bittersweet sunset.
Despair explodes a stillbirth of exhausted regrets.
Sadness mourns astride this separation.
A canon of unrequited dreams ricochets across a canyon of silence.
Lives move on.
Hope persists however, unscarred like an eternal spring.
